Orange Dream Cheesecake

Pin It This recipe came from the Kraft Canada website.  Click the recipe title to go directly there.  I've entered it into the WW Recipe Builder to get the point value for us WW-ers.  The photo is from the Kraft website as I did not put all the fancy stuff on top of mine.  The spatula tasted great after I finished making this - I'll let you know if the final chilled flavour tastes as good!

**Review Updated:  We had this last night for NY Eve and I thought it was great!  The kids tried it and liked it too.  I think I would experiment with different jell-o flavours - I am thinking lemon jell-o with raspberries on top maybe?  I would give this a 4.5/5.  Not quite a 5, but pretty close.  It might be good if frozen too...  The kids thought cherry or raspberry flavour would be good too...so many options with this one!**

Preparation Time: 10 min
Cooking Time: 0 min
Level of Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

1/3 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 pouch Jell-O Orange light no sugar added
1 cup fat-free cottage cheese
1 cup (tub) light cream cheese
1 ½ * cups Cool Whip 95% fat free whipped topping

Instructions

SPRINKLE crumbs onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan sprayed with cooking spray.

ADD boiling water to jelly mix; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Cool 5 min.; pour into blender. Add cottage cheese and cream cheese spread; blend well. Pour into large bowl. Gently stir in Cool Whip. Pour into prepared pan; smooth top.

REFRIGERATE 4 hours or until set. Remove rim of pan before serving.

*Original recipe called for 1 1/3 cups of Cool Whip, but I accidentally put in 1 1/2...made no difference in the point value though!

One thing I think I would do differently is to maybe sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs on the top of the cheesecake rather than putting it in the bottom of the pan...not sure it it would work or not, but I think I'll give it a try. I couldn't believe how simple this was - literally start to finish it took 10 mins (including the 5 mins of cooling the jell-o!)
